Sara Radstake
Professional Artist

Sara Radstake was born and raised in Lima -Peru, South America. Her Grandfather, Victor Garay Vasquez was a professional artist and he taught her how to draw the human body when she was 5 years old. Raised mostly by her Grandmother (Abuelita) she was not allowed to watch television or go outside to play with the other children, so Radstake painted using oils and charcoal to pass the time.

After Radstake came to America, 23 years ago, and with the encouragement and
support of her husband she began to expand her training and finally
began studying under master painter Sharon Rae Hyder at the Hyder
Gallery. Sharpening her skills in charcoal, oil, and acrylic she
expanded into landscape and floral designs exploring many new
techniques.

Radstake have been fascinated with traveling around the world since she was little and when she visits another country; she submerge into its culture and life style. Those experiences help Radstake recreate people and landscapes and because of her Latin heritage, her work is often lit with bright and crisp colors combined with American and ethnic nuances.

Although having a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Radstake passion was always to develop her work into a successful fine art brand. Now collected throughout the world, she is expanding her gallery representation across America.

Her work can be found in the Hyder Gallery Center for fine art and other fine art venues in Sanford, Florida.
